Health Insurance
At this time I am a preferred
provider for several health insurance plans, including
Regence Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, Uniform
Medical, APS Healthcare, MultiPlan and First Choice
Health Plans. If you have one of these plans I will
be able to bill your insurance company for your sessions
directly. You will be responsible for any co-pays,
co-insurance and deductable amounts at the time of
each session.
If I am not contracted with your particular plan, you will need to pay in full for your sessions at the time of service and I will provide you with the necessary information for you to file your own claims.
If you are considering using your health insurance to pay
for therapy I would suggest you contact them directly
prior to coming for your first appointment. Some plans
require preauthorization. You will also want to be
clear on your rate of coverage, your co-pay amount,
any unmet deductibles and the number of sessions available
to you each year.
Other Forms of Coverage
I am a contracted provider for
several local and national Employee Assistance Plans.
Check with your employer to find out if you have this
type of coverage and who to call for authorization.
I am also an authorized provider for Washington State
Crime Victims Compensation Program.
